As some of you know, I was recently awarded an artist residency with the National Parks Arts Foundation. This was both a surprise and a huge honor. This residency will be for the month of January, and will be in Death Valley National Park.

During my time there I plan to make a film, produce a series of texts, and compose some pieces of music, and will document my progress daily on this blog. 

I will be taking a month off work, and have started a fundraiser to upgrade my tools and cover some of my costs while gone. As it stands, the computer I bought when I moved back from Europe is on its last legs, and the camera I have is a tourist grade, PAL dv tape camera. While I do not need a brand new macintosh, something more recent, and a better camera will do. Also related would be costs related to my home and car, (gas, insurance, electric, etc...). So I am hoping to raise a couple thousand dollars.

For this, anyone donating would in essence be a co producer of the film, and any amount would be greatly appreciated.

It has been some time since such an opportunity has presented itself, and I am really excited and thankful.
